Building Blocks For Planet Antares Vending Machines

Four major raw materials are used to make vending machines such as those provided by Planet Antares Corporation. These include:

• Galvanized steel
• Lexan or other plastic
• Acrylic powder coatings
• Polyurethane insulation

Galvanized steel is used to make a large part of the equipment. It ranges from 10 guages to 22 guages in thickness. For the outside cabinets, external doors and internal tank the thicker guages are used. These parts require internal guages for internal door and plates, can stacks and mechanisms such as coin validators and product trays.

A tough polycarbonate plastic, Lexan is used to build the front panels. When it comes to thickness, sheets of lexan in the vending machine can range from 0.13 in to 0.25 in. Considering performance, laxen sheets provide high level of durability. It is very difficult to break, flame retadant, easy to shape and can be treated to restrict UV rays, light and heat transmission. These lexan sheets are also used for Silk screening of product logos, names and illustrations. In effect, you can save money by reducing energy and replacement costs and hence, improves the life of your Planet Antares vending machines.

Next, acrylic powder coating is used to paint the surface of the vending machines. It offers the best overall exterior durability and can be formulated into products with excellent chemical, detergent and stain resistance. Other features of this material include hardness and scratch resistance for your Planet Antares vending machine. It also gives a smooth and high gloss finish for your machine. Moreover, Acrylic powders meet the governmental environmental standards.

The interior of the vending machine is insulated with the help of polyurethane foam. It helps to create a seamless, waterproof, durable covering layer. Additionally, it provides structural stability to both the cabinet and the tank of the machine.
